A nice person who talked to him when he first arrived. Speaks of a world where the angels orchestrated the demons' arrivals for some reason, and has her own experience dealing with demons that ring rather familiar.
...Kind of an asshole. Or is it that her views simply bear too much resemblance to incidents from before? He has no ill-feeling for her, though (or at least not yet), since she doesn't seem to be a completely passionless robot. But time will tell.
Someone he helped up the stairs. Also knows about demons. Is half-demon- whoa what. Got screwed over by the Demon Lord and has her world in catastrophe too, which... Jonathan can somewhat sympathize with. Or at least, pretends he can! You know how people who help end up liking the helped more than the other way round because the helper feels better about themselves? Basically.
FLYNN FLYNN FLYNN FLYNN OH WOW HE MISSED YOU! He speaks of a future Jonathan hasn't seen and a path still shrouded in mystery... Jonathan doesn't want to interrogate him up-down about it yet, though. He'll ask him more about it when Flynn want to speak. For now... he's just really happy his friend is back, okay? Flynn was always the better Samurai, the strongest one, the de facto leader. Also, a reminder that the shit he's been through before Hinoto-Ri wasn't some elaborate fantasy.
Hello, robot... girl... thing...! No, seriously though, you're cool. Jonathan's really not sure how to deal with the whole 'robot' fiasco, but after talking to her, she seems far too human to be classified as something else entirely. He'll respect her as a person, even after she whooped his ass at the Tournament (or maybe especially after?).
Hello new friend, also from a medieval canon! They need to start a support group for this shit, seriously. Really, though- Jonathan still feels kinda terrible about the whole 'got electrocuted' spiel and even if he's not really free he will rush over immediately if Takakage needs help! Because dammit, he would've really loved some help when he first arrived too. He got some, but... he can't count the number of hours he spent wandering aimlessly trying to understand things out of his world. Jonathan doesn't really want the same for Takakage, too.
Nice girl who's good at painting and WAY TOO YOUNG TO BE DEMON FIGHTING HOLY SHIT BUT oh well. She's stronger than him, so there's that... in any case, though, he'll totally help her if she's in trouble. Her attitude does pique his curiosity, though. How is she so okay with being in Hinoto-Ri? A year without family? Jonathan feels kinda bad for her.
